About Audrey

Hey! If you’re curious about who I am or why I write, then you’ve found the right place. To set the scene, let’s venture back to my childhood, when our minivan played the cassette of Carman’s Lazarus Come Forth…
I grew up in the Midwest, tagging along with my older siblings in their homeschooling lessons until I was old enough to start my own. My afternoons were usually spent playing in our basement, where I could be found waitressing at my cafe or running a grocery store. Possibly driving an indoor taxi.
At some point, I took that love of everyday adventures and started writing stories. By the Lord’s will and grace, I was saved at an early age, so it was natural for me to include themes of faith in whatever I wrote. It was only after I’d self-published my first book, though, that I really considered what I wanted to accomplish through stories. I later un-published that book and didn’t pursue writing again for the next few years.
During that time, while going to college and starting a full-time job, God was at work developing my understanding of who He is. I saw how He remains faithful even when we are not, and the peace we can only find in a daily dependence on Jesus.
Through the books I write now, my desire is to share the hope, grace, forgiveness, and truth of the gospel. I hope that when you read one of my stories, you’ll be encouraged to seek Jesus in a daily pursuit.
If you ever want to talk about the Lord, books, or anything else that’s on your mind, please send me a message!
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
- Isaiah 40:8
